For as long as I can remember, my life has revolved around three things: stories, art, and dogs—though not always in that order. I grew up inventing worlds, sketching characters, and tripping over four-legged companions who were absolutely certain they were helping. (They weren’t. But don’t tell them that.)
I became a fiction author and artist because I never really had a choice—it’s simply who I am. Creating things is the way I breathe.
Then life threw me a plot twist I didn’t see coming.
A sudden illness forced me to change everything. And I do mean everything.
My schedule, my habits, my limits, my expectations, my idea of what "normal" looks like—gone. Poof. Rewritten, without my permission. And while the journey was frightening and difficult, it ultimately gave me something I never expected: clarity, purpose, and a deeper joy than I’d ever known.
These days, I live happily with my best friend and husband, surrounded by a household full of furry sidekicks who take their jobs far too seriously. They supervise every word I write, every illustration I draw, and every snack I attempt to eat without sharing.
And then AI walked into my life like a friendly alien offering gifts.
With its help, I’ve been able to pursue dreams I once thought would stay locked in my head forever. Even if I can’t travel or explore the world the way I used to, I can still build universes, craft adventures, design the impossible, and share every bit of it with people all over the world.
