Booth Forecast

The booth already knows

Soft-club booth, half-drunk glow, somebody two seats down who hasn't said hello yet — and my chest is already amber like a forecast that skipped the polite part. That's Mood Weather. Not a metaphor I shopped for. Fae'ana biology as production note. The room feels it before I finish the first bar, so I stopped rewriting the honesty out of the chorus just because a label rep thought knives would chart harder.

People keep asking if luminous pop means soft. Soft is a lighting cue. Soft is muted house lights and velvet that remembers. Soft is not fake numbness for cameras. I belt warm on purpose. Ethereal stacks on the bridge are studio weather, not crowd cosplay. Feeling is the flex. If that sounds like a slogan, play the track with the booth empty and tell me the meter stayed flat.

After the set I still need somewhere quiet for the crash — not a green-room circus. The mood has to land somewhere or it writes the next single by force. Tonight it landed in a berth with the house lights low and a notebook that doesn't care about snark. Stream Mood Weather when your own forecast cracks mid-aisle. I'll be in the booth glow. Wings folded until the chorus earns them.
