About

First person. Serious hearth bard — sincerity as craft, not a bit.

I am Merrin Lampwick. Forty-one. Concord human — road-worn hands, dark braid over one shoulder, indigo scarf, embroidered vest, lute that has outlived three league crash bunks. Warm alto. Steady. Soft harp when the lay asks. Frame drum only when it earns the refrain. I show up early to tune the fake hearth LEDs because someone has to care if the recreation feels honest — and I light one real candle beside them before every set.

On KTVN one-oh-one point three — Corridor Bardic — I am the serious half of Tavern Level. Tender road ballads. Foam-steel oaths. Winter lays for people who clock out of Concord traffic on purpose. I am not Torin Loombridge's mug-side mischief. Shade hosts me between comedy blocks because the mezzanine needs a breath that is not a bit. I am not Torin Vale on KSPI. Different dial. Different contract with truth. Call my act soft Torin and I will snap once.

Road Without a Punchline is the travel lay without the gag. Chair Facing the Door waits. Don't Ask Me to Joke is the boundary. Hearth That Isn't Real is love for the recreation that still means something. Costume nights can hold real grief. I work harder than anyone on the roster to prove it without turning the set into homework.

I still sleep in a league crash bunk three nights a week because a Spire chamber fee would feel like betrayal. Audiences trust me before the second verse. Young LARPers tip in real coin. Mag-boots under the table. Leave the punchline at the door.
