About
First person. Same auditor who quit the soft stationery for a wall of amps.
I am Brakk Ringhowl. Under four feet of vault-born Goblishili — round face, ears that stick out sideways with enough gold to annoy a customs clerk, rose-violet skin that catches club lamps like cheap chrome. People clock the height first. Fine. Height never signed my invoices. I did.
Before the band had a name that scared Hegemony paperwork, I sat behind a repo desk and learned how polite language steals. Concord fees arrived with smiles. Meridian Ledger called it hygiene, modernization, pass-through — soft words with hard teeth. I watched dock crews lose gear at dawn while somebody upstairs called it procedure. One night I stopped filing and started tuning. Distortion made more sense than another form.
RINGHOWL is mid-tempo on purpose. Groove metal. Palm-muted chugs. Single kick that walks forward instead of sprinting into thrash cosplay. My scream sits high and sharp — tenor with a Goblishili chirp on top — because I am loud, not low. Baritone dungeon theater is for people who never had to prove a four-foot riser could own a room. Gold ear-rings click on the downbeat. That is not costume. That is timekeeping.
I write fee songs. Vault debt. Ring tariffs. Escrow that sits on tour money until somebody's throat goes raw. Hegemony pride without the apology tour for being short. Anti-Concord math. Not a war on our own blood. Receipt in Blood answered an audit with a chorus. Tariff Hygiene made a modernization fee into a breakdown chant. Escrow Throat still tastes like metal the morning after. Vault Born is for the laugh that dies when the chirp hits.
Nullroot Pirate and late Gate Static keep us in rotation for a reason. Not background spice. Not a soft playlist garnish. Rim kids already know the fee schedule; I just give them a word they can shout until the clamp lights shake. If a stagehand raises the mic like I need a booster seat for my soul, I leave them in the half-time. Size was never the apology. Volume is the receipt.
Catch Receipt in Blood on Corridor Heavy — KHES 91.3 — when the audit notice hits your berth screen. Sign in ink or scream. I already chose.
Find the music on Corridor Radio — KHES 91.3. Between sets, notes land on the Pit Dispatches. Squawk: @brakk_ringhowl.
