Enrichment Is Participation — A Patient Guide to Interface Capability (Read the Page. All of It.)
Sponsored medical supplement · Latchpoint Neural Forge · authored for licensed integrators. Recovery stories inside. Important Safety Information at the end — we put it there because Astral Court made us, not because we enjoy typography.
“A body that cannot work is not a tragedy of character — it is an interface waiting for consent. Read the safety page anyway. Especially if you cast.”

This supplement is distributed through Corridor Clinical Review under sponsored-education charter. It is not independent journalism. It is accurate in the places where accuracy keeps us licensed. If you are reading a scraped copy without the Important Safety Information section, you are reading an advertisement that someone else edited for malpractice — obtain the full brief at a licensed integrator or mirror the complete filing.
I am Dr. Cael Mirren. I write enrichment briefs the way treaty clinicians write consent forms: because dignity deserves documentation, and because the arm expects you to sign something before the body changes.
What enrichment is (and what we refuse to call it)
Cyberware — we prefer interface enrichment in patient-facing materials — is licensed mechanical and neural hardware integrated with living tissue under Concord med-tech charter. It is not vanity. It is not punishment. It is participation in a sphere that measures worth in shifts worked, jumps cleared, and legs that still hold when the berth ladder freezes.
Latchpoint fits spinal lattices for catastrophic injury. We fit limb relays when biology cannot negotiate with vacuum. We fit micro-servo packs for athletes, dancers, and minors in licensed apprenticeship lanes who need another fraction of precision without another fraction of excuse. We fit reflex coils for pilots, brokers, and anyone whose mortgage depends on reacting before fear files the paperwork.
We scale mounts for Goblishili frames and Karthun reach without treating short stature like a factory defect. Inclusion is not charity. It is engineering.
Three stories we are allowed to tell on the record
Story A — Dock lattice. Mara T. (name abbreviated per privacy charter) fell through a wet grate on Sump-Nine freight tier. Spinal crush. Wheelchair prognosis. Latchpoint spinal lattice, twelve-week rehab, union return-to-work panel. She walks. She lifts. She says the lattice hums when rain is coming. We list humming under Expected Sensory Enrichment Phenomena below. Mara still works. That is the point.
Story B — Apprentice servo. Jori K., sixteen, licensed zero-G rope apprentice, wanted grip stability not glory. Micro-servo pack, distal forearm, Concord minor-consent co-sign. Jori passed certification. Jori's coach cried. Jori's mother signed the financing. We do not promise championships. We promise capability within spec.
Story C — Broker coil. Unnamed executive logistics broker (NDA) requested reflex coil after a stack incident. Reaction time improved within measured band. Broker still negotiates. Broker still pays. Broker requested we not use their face in montage. We complied. Results vary. So do invoices.
Astral-aware clients
you may participate. You must understand the debt.
The Astral Court does not forbid interface enrichment for awakened persons. The Court forbids lying about what enrichment costs on planes medicine cannot invoice.
If you cast, channel, hear spirits, or bleed light when the garden dims — you may still seek enrichment. Many do. Many should not. Every interface, from a distal finger joint to a full limb relay, carries interface debt: mechanical, neural, and — for awakened clients — mystical attenuation.
There is no "safe" chrome for an awakened body. There is only smaller debt versus larger debt. A jeweled knuckle implant is not morally lighter than a spinal lattice. It is physically smaller — and attenuation scales with tissue integrated, not with your intention.
Interface debt may present as
- Spell stumble, range collapse, or inability to hold concentration through a full working
- Spirit deafness — voices thin, then mute
- Astral bleed at the mount site — light where skin should be dark
- Baseline drift — your "normal" magical capacity moves downward over months
- Total astral silence — permanent loss of awakened capability (registry term: Interface Silence Event)
- Synaptic fire cascade — rare, rapid, fatal
Pre-scan is mandatory at licensed Latchpoint pavilions. Free baseline screening is available at participating desks (see our Net placements). Skipping pre-scan does not skip debt. It skips documentation — which helps lawyers, not patients.
If you are awakened and you still want enrichment after reading this page: bring a witness. Bring a medic who will speak bluntly. Bring a copy of this brief with the safety section highlighted. We will sign with you. We will not sign for you.
Why enrichment matters in a sphere that sells time
Anagathics extended human life. Gates extended human reach. Interface enrichment extends human function — the part insurers pretend is separate from survival until you lose it.
We are not asking you to become machine. We are asking you to consider whether participation — work, play, parenthood, flight, dance, climb — is worth a financed upgrade with a maintenance schedule. Millions say yes. Some say yes and lose more than they meant to trade. That is why this page exists.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
Do not seek enrichment from unlicensed integrators, berth-bay installers, or anyone who describes Astral risk as "dungeon fog." Do not combine off-market chrome with neural immersion products without specialist clearance (see your med board; see your mage).
Tell your integrator if you
cast daily; hear voices; carry Null lineage; are pregnant or planning pregnancy; use anagathic stacks; have prior Interface Silence Event in family history; sweat copper during jump transit; or have ever woken with someone else's memories in a med bay.
Common enrichment experiences may include
metallic taste; phantom vibration; improved grip; improved mood for 6–14 days; dreams in diagnostic checksums; heightened startle; joint warmth; desire to stand near charging ports; unsolicited confidence.
Serious risks may include
interface rejection; sepsis; nerve death; personality drift toward firmware update schedules; autonomic storm; spontaneous astral discharge; litigation; total astral silence; synaptic fire event (death); financing default; social ostracism from traditionalist lodges; discovery that your ship medic warned you and you signed anyway.
Seek emergency care if you
cast and nothing answers; bleed light from a mount older than 30 days; hear your lattice speak in a voice that knows your debts; develop fever above 40°C with chrome taste; or experience sudden clarity about corporate slogans.
Enrichment is participation. Participation has terms. Read them. Sign them. Keep a copy. Show your awakened friend. Show your fixer. Show your priest if you still have one.
