Wendi Coffman-Porter

I have been a writer and author since I was a kid. An only child, I grew up on military bases around the world. Dogs have been my best friends for as long as I can remember.

I started roleplaying in the 1980s and have been a professionally paid GM. I am also a published author with books in regular bookstores — not just online. I love all genres of roleplaying, and ever since the advent of Cursor I have been in love with world building online.

This website changes often as my next project takes over and I get inspired, but I can honestly say this has been a fun journey. I enjoy making in-game ads, music, and even in-game podcasts (though ElevenLabs just isn't there enough for me to get the realism I am looking for). I have tried audiobooks, fantasy bard music, sci-fi music, web design — I have been building websites professionally since the early 90s — and I have even built a couple of applications.

Despite the political and media climate across the world, and despite the constant threat of death from a very severe allergy (hence the service dog that goes with me everywhere to keep me alive), I am very happy in my life. I have good friends, good kids, dogs, cats, and chickens, and the best life partner anyone could ever ask for. Life is good and creativity is better. If I could get some of these dogs into adopted homes, life would be quieter, which might be nice — but I am not complaining. As my husband says, “I love my Potato chips!”
