- Who does Wendi build websites for?
- Police, veterans, dog trainers and breeders, artists, photographers, authors, and musicians — people and work she loves to support. Each site is custom, not a template.
- What is a branding kit?
- A branding kit is the visual rules for your name: logo mark, lockup, colors, type, and how they sit together so every page looks intentional. It is included with custom sites.
- What is a static website versus an updated site?
- A static site is built once and stays put — about, gallery, services. An updated site needs regular changes such as calendars, new photos, or posts, and uses a monthly care plan (plus hosting) after the build. White glove means I run the site so you do not have to touch it.
- How much does custom web design cost?
- Static sites start from a one-time build fee. Regular care is a monthly fee plus hosting. White glove is full-service operation on top. Stripe, shopping carts, and other third-party tools are billed to you at cost — not inside the monthly care number. Current starting figures are on https://wendicoffmanporter.com/design/pricing.
- What is white glove service?
- White glove means I do everything after we agree the scope — updates, publishing, the boring bits — so you never have to log into the site. Monthly care plus hosting still apply; third-party tools are billed at cost.
- Does the monthly fee include Stripe, shopping carts, or other apps?
- No. The monthly care fee is my time. Hosting is separate. Stripe, shopping carts, payment processors, and similar vendor fees pass through to you at cost. I do not absorb them.
- Are the example sites real businesses?
- No. The examples on /design are fictional demos that show layout, branding kits, and features. They are portfolio proof, not live clients.
- How do I hire you for a website?
- Email hi@wendicoffmanporter.com with what you need. Include your field and whether the site must change often.
