Hilda Debt-Bead

Overview

Hilda Debt-Bead arrives with the posted recovery writ and the tired patience of somebody who has already watched three clerks misunderstand the same wreck. League Salvage Factor is not decorative here: Hilda Debt-Bead knows which cuts preserve title, which seals matter, and which heroic improvisation turns valuable salvage into ownerless debris. The first impression is practical clothing, a marked tool case, and eyes that keep checking the recovery clock.

The job concerns the silent ore tug Ash-Anvil and its detachable forge module at Forge-Hammer. Hilda Debt-Bead explains the clean version without mystical fog or war-story nonsense. Khlir-Rend hears the claim aloud and stamps every cutting tool against the posted debt bead. The destination is Hardfell League by profile lock — HIP 45839, X610100-C, outpost, registered. The road in does not repaint it.

Under pressure, Hilda Debt-Bead gets quieter rather than louder. The tug's debt beads show Korrin's clan paid the principal years ago, but a Guild factor kept compounding berth charges after the crew vanished. Hilda wants the forge module secured while the claim is heard, not stripped in a back-alley grab. That leaves room for argument, law, and consequence. It does not leave room for pretending this is courier freight with a fake moustache. Somebody has to enter a dead structure, make it safe, cut out the right thing, and bring it home with the claim still attached.
