Copper Ghost’s narrow buffer fits between a berth feed and one temperamental rack: med freezer, nav stack, fab controller, anything expensive enough to resent a half-second brownout. A scarred polymer shell covers copper bus bars, ceramic isolation blocks, and a shock-mounted capacitor cassette. Under load it gives off a dry electrical buzz and enough heat to warm a tool locker. The side panel comes away with four captive screws; brushes, contactors, and the bleed resistor are all reachable without pulling the rack.
It won’t carry a whole ship. That’s the point. The unit catches short sags and switching spikes before they reach one protected circuit, then dumps excess heat through ribbed cheeks. Amperex financing ties the warranty to quarterly inspection strips. Miss two payments or pencil in a service date, and replacement cassettes jump to full dockside price—usually just when the crew discovers why the old one was humming.
