A blind-drop tag looks like the foil inventory label stuck to a thousand freight parcels. Peel it, press it to a surface, and it wakes only when a matching reader passes within ten meters. The tag then transfers its tiny encrypted message and goes electrically dead. No radio chatter until the intended courier arrives; no second chance if the wrong reader has the copied key. The adhesive bonds hard enough to survive rain and cargo wash, which makes removing an unused tag a noisy business involving solvent and regret. Each packet holds little more than coordinates, a phrase, or one compressed image. Enough to move a person. Enough to ruin one too.
