Kitewire does not stamp a seal so much as grow one. A suitcase-sized scanner reads surface scratches, alloy composition, embedded dust, and the tired little distortions left by an old press. Its sintering head then builds a copy complete with plausible wear. Fresh counterfeits look suspiciously perfect, so the kit includes a tumbler filled with dock grit and three bottles labeled only by smell. The machine consumes proprietary metal powder now sold in unmarked tea tins. It can reproduce customs marks, bonded warehouse tabs, and inspection caps, provided somebody supplies a clean sample. The copy survives scanners better than touch; experienced cargo clerks still notice when an old seal feels newborn.
