Latchkey panels are shaped to disappear inside access hatches. Their honeycomb ceramic core and magnetic edge strips let a smuggler snap protection behind a vehicle door, kiosk wall, or cabin partition without drilling holes. Pulled free, one can be strapped under a coat using the included web harness, though it sits like a serving tray and moves about as gracefully. The front face bears fake maintenance warnings in six languages. Bullets chip the ceramic into pale dust that clings to everything, making a stopped attack surprisingly hard to conceal. A small viewing slot can be punched out with a tool. Doing so weakens the panel, despite what the stall owner says.
