Red Static Resonance Longblade

Thumb the hilt stud and the Red Static wakes with a mosquito whine you feel through your teeth. Piezoelectric ribs drive the narrow blade at a frequency that shakes coatings loose, worries ceramic seams apart, and turns a merely competent cut into expensive surgery. The emitter housing is wrapped in red insulating cord because the original grip plates are long gone; three different serial numbers show beneath the wrap. It is not elegant, quiet, or remotely legal. It is, however, the sort of sword a dock mage buys when wards are plentiful and armored bounty crews have begun mistaking patience for weakness. The stall includes one charged cell and absolutely no receipt.
