The Ashline Warden is built for cargo doors that get sprayed with brine, coolant, and whatever leaked from berth twelve. A nickel-steel strike sits behind a ceramic drain plate; the control brick mounts inside the dry face of the bulkhead and takes ship power through a fused two-wire feed. Installation leaves a numbered copper shear tab across the strike screws. Break the tab, force the door, or swap the controller and a mechanical wheel advances beneath a glass witness port. Electronic logs hold the last 4,000 opens, denials, outages, and service resets. Dock vibration can trigger nuisance tamper marks if the frame is badly shimmed, so Boltward includes a feeler gauge and has no sympathy for crooked work. An owner can issue glove-readable crew tokens or a sealed master key. Cutting power keeps the bolt thrown for eight hours. Forcing one on a bonded warehouse usually brings customs first and the cargo insurer’s lawyer shortly after.
