The relay sends a silent distress burst without lighting the room or telling an intruder which hand moved. Mount it where fingers can find the textured edge from a chair, bunk, or counter, then test the route beyond the local panel. New units smell of adhesive backing and solder flux. Shopkeepers, medics, and crews carrying passengers buy them because loud courage is not always useful. The relay can ping ship security, a nearby comm, or a contracted responder. If the network path is obvious, jammed, or never tested after refit, silence becomes the product's only reliable feature. Wayfarer rounds the housing, pads the grip, and prints its directions in three trade scripts for mixed crews. Passenger haulers and family-run ships accept the modest markup because confusion is expensive far from port.
