Armory Storage Locker Rental

This is not a locker you own. It is a numbered cage in Sealmark’s back room, behind two pressure doors and a clerk who remembers faces better than names. Rental buys a month of dry, monitored storage for legal weapons, sealed ammunition, and armor that would make a cabin inspection awkward. Each cage has a private mechanical key plus an account token; the shop keeps neither alone sufficient. Contents are weighed at check-in and check-out, not inventoried, a compromise between privacy and avoiding accusations when somebody forgets what they packed. Miss two payments and the cage is frozen. Miss six and a bonded auctioneer enters the story. Nobody enjoys that chapter.
