Low Orbit designed this sidearm for people whose weapon permit gets checked more often than their pulse. The frame carries a visible serial window, tamper-evident fire-control block, and a little amber lamp that confirms the loaded magazine matches the registered civilian pressure limit. None of that makes it pretty. The pistol is slab-sided, phosphate-dark, and textured like a cargo step. Its virtue is predictability: mild recoil, generous sights, and magazines that can be stripped while wearing station gloves. The permit chip can be read without unlocking the weapon, sparing everyone the tense little dance at security desks. Owners still cover the lamp with tape. Human nature remains undefeated.
