Whisper Holdout Pistol

Whisper is a two-shot holdout pistol built into a slab no larger than a deck of ration cards. The barrels sit over-under inside a ceramic shell that defeats casual metal scans, though the springs and ammunition remain very much detectable to competent security. A folding trigger tab lies flush until thumbed out. There are no sights beyond a groove, because at the intended distance you will either know where the target is or have much larger problems. The report is sharp but contained by captive gas baffles. Those baffles wear quickly and cannot be cleaned in the field. It is an emergency argument, not a sidearm for an afternoon at the range.
