Mag-Boot Sole Set

These replacement soles bolt beneath ordinary pressure boots and turn any ferrous deck into a suggestion of gravity. Segmented electromagnets let heel and toe release separately, preserving something close to a walking gait instead of the old stomp-and-peel shuffle. A thumbwheel sets grip strength. Too low and the wearer drifts. Too high and every step becomes leg day. The rubber tread insulates against cold plate and can be changed without disturbing the coils. Metal shavings gather around the edges in black whiskers, eventually preventing full contact. Clean them before an exterior walk.
