A hip-socket utility leg tuned for hull rungs, cable runs, and the ugly crawl between berths where boots slip. It is not a vac thruster, not an arm pack, and it will not save a free-fall without a line. What it buys is foot-and-shin grip honesty — less “I thought I had it” when the rung is wet with coolant. Fitting includes a week of recalibration climbs; Hardsocket keeps the hard disconnect reachable because last year’s gait firmware is this year’s lawsuit.
Licensed utility leg. Climbing profiles are licensed; illegal export of grip tables voids warranty. Not an arm socket.
