Lightkeel comes as eight silver-grey ingots wrapped against salt and dock grit. The alloy machines cleanly, carries less mass than common steel and makes excellent housings, ducts and equipment frames. It also burns with memorable enthusiasm when ground carelessly. The warning card shows a smiling worker holding the correct extinguisher. Nobody believes he works the night shift.
