BreathScrub Cell Filter is a carbon-ceramic cassette with a steel carry hoop and three mechanical gauges readable through a scratched faceplate. Clip it into a portable cell, verify airflow, and watch the saturation band instead of trusting the prisoner's nose. Hunters use it for keeping captives and witnesses conscious while trapping smoke, sedative vapor, and chemical traces left by the quarry. Bag spent cartridges as hazardous evidence and store replacements vacuum-sealed. Corrections codes usually require an independent oxygen alarm because this filter does not make oxygen. Ignore the red band and restraint becomes negligence: the captive is poisoned and the chemical evidence is blown through the ship.
