Greyveil Smoke Grenade

Greyveil is a squat polymer egg with a thumb-safe collar and a color band that turns chalk when the smoke charge ages out. Twist, toss, and the canister dumps a thick grey curtain that eats optics and cheap IR for about a minute in still air. Hunters use it to break line of sight in berths and alley stacks without putting holes in the warrant paperwork. Keep the seals dry; a damp charge coughs weak fog and still smells like burned solvent for days. Do not cook one in a pressure hatch — the habitat fans will hate you, and so will whoever bills for filter scrub.
