SnareJam Short-Range Baffler is a ribbed alloy puck with folding antennas, a belt clip, and a blunt three-position power switch. Place it between the quarry and the strongest relay, then verify the team's encrypted channel before pursuit resumes. Hunters use it for blocking civilian calls, drone commands, and remote lock triggers inside a small capture zone while logging active bands. Power it down in a shielded pouch so it does not keep announcing itself from the locker. Unlicensed jamming is illegal nearly everywhere and emergency channels are protected for good reason. Blank the wrong band and the team loses backup, medical telemetry, or the evidence beacon along with the target's comms.
