Stormfeather hangs a thruster pack inside a ring of load cells and lets it fire without putting a technician through the ceiling. The rig measures vector drift, valve lag, and the tiny asymmetry that becomes a tumble three hundred yards from the hull. Scorch panels are replaceable. The floor anchors are not.
Its warning siren is loud enough to offend a Karthun. This is considered a feature.
