The White-Axe chest is built around a servo dyno no larger than a cookpot. Clamp in an actuator and it tests load, heat, backlash, and the faint shudder that means a bearing has started writing its will. Drawers underneath carry shims, seals, winding wire, and five kinds of grease that all look identical until one ruins a knee joint.
The lid bears a family axe mark under the paint. Cheap counterfeits put it on top.
