Overview
Tarin Cold-Measure is a Crodoc instrument technician. He carries thermal probes in a padded case. He is lean, coffee-brown skinned, and narrow-tusked.
He rides with the crew to Aelithstone because auditor Cora Ledger-Proof needs a tech who is not on the station payroll. He logs serial numbers before greetings and cleans probe contacts twice. If you break custody, he stops being patient.
He has seen lot seven's temperature scar before: a long warm stretch, then a hard re-ice, the pattern of a contractor bay that lost power and chose schedule over quarantine. He will run the assay twice, print both results, and hand them over. He will not invent numbers.
