Hakon Debt-Anvil
Overview
Hakon Debt-Anvil enters Two-Flag Charter Hall as League foreclosure advocate, carrying the practical burden of the Slatekey Span talks. The first read is specific: hot slate dust, hammer taps used as procedural punctuation, beard beads clicking against ceramic cups, and two flags hung exactly the same height. Hakon Debt-Anvil watches who gets acknowledged, who gets interrupted, and which copy of the draft people reach for.
Two hold-charters fly on approach and neither answers standard hails. The League needs somebody neutral to determine which debt-clan can speak for the gate. Hakon Debt-Anvil understands that transporting delegates was the easy bit. The actual job is consent under pressure, with a record sturdy enough to survive the crew's departure and the next local election, court, House vote, caste review, provincial appeal, relief emergency, or century-long archive check.
Under pressure, Hakon Debt-Anvil argues from hardfell-league practice rather than generic spacer etiquette. Both flags are lawful pieces of older charters. One controls life support and the other holds the paid gate debt; choosing either outright would turn accounting into a blood feud. Hakon Debt-Anvil's position is not automatically right, but it is rooted in consequences somebody here will have to live with. Mediate a joint approach charter that divides gate voice, maintenance liability, and debt standing without declaring either kin-line fraudulent.
