Brass Vein Mining Station

Overview

Brass Vein Mining Station

A belt platform the size of a small city — anchored on a nickel-iron cluster, spinning slow enough to keep the bars honest. Brass Vein chews rock, spits ingots, and ships ore to Auric Halo on tugs that look like they lost a fight with physics and kept working anyway.

Four hundred thousand permanent crew, plus twice that in rotation workers who sleep in hot bunks and dream of Prime. The shift guild runs the pits; the corp charter runs the payroll; the BHL desk runs a kiosk near Dock C and pretends it's not judging your rank.

Tool theft is a religion. Salvage rights are a war. Everyone knows the executive shuttle bay has softer locks than the pit lockers — and worse consequences.
