The Bracewinter was designed around pressure suits, not powered armor—a distinction sales clerks explain after customers see the word “suit” and get ambitious. A sliding shoulder stirrup and forearm tether spread the shock of a downward blow across an ordinary suit harness. The compact hammer breaks stubborn fittings; the narrow axe parts cable and thin hull furniture; the beak digs into plate seams. Karthunai forge hands peen the head around a dark alloy socket, then stamp the fitter’s temperature and paw-width beside the weld. Remove the brace and it remains a serviceable poleaxe, though the recoil starts collecting debts in elbows.
