The roll opens into a compact little surgery for weapons: ceramic laps, edge gauges, insulated picks, carbon dust traps, oscillator locks, sealant, and one square of cloth nobody can explain but everyone steals. Kethline sized the tools for gloved Karthunai hands and printed the torque marks large enough to read under emergency red light. The kit will keep a blade honest through a boarding run. It will not resurrect snapped steel or forgive a fool who sharpens a powered edge while the cell is connected. The lid carries that warning three times. Apparently three wasn't enough.
