Overview

Earth

Earth is still the cradle — restored seas, buffer ecologies, and dozens of Solaris states that inherited the old nations' borders the way a mansion inherits grudges. 30-point residency is the crown tier: the world everyone name-checks and not everyone can afford to stand on. Buffer biomes smell of salt wind, treaty forest resin, and the quiet money of addresses where permits are ancestry.

Wealth lives in those buffer zones — coastlines, highland preserves, treaty forests, and the holo-postcard meadows tourists share while shift workers never leave the stacks. Work lives elsewhere. Two corporate arcologiesHelix Basin (~six hundred million) and Northreach Cantilever (~five hundred fifty million) — hold stacked factory districts, recycler warrens, and shift housing where air is billed, water is rationed by tier, and windows are a seniority benefit. The poor of Earth do not farm the restored meadows. They clock in.

Earth is not one experience. It is a postcard and a punch card in the same orbit — federal House seats still weighted here, Luna keeps the executive calendar, and every arcology riot echoes in buffer-state water treaties written by people who have never ridden the Basin Ring.
