Ashline Density Mapper is a two-handed mapper that combines gravitic, acoustic, and inertial readings into a coarse volume model of cargo, machinery, or rock. It finds hidden compartments because empty space has weight too—or rather, conspicuously does not. The operator must circle the target and mark stable reference points; using it from one angle makes confident nonsense. Maps preserve mass distribution well enough to reveal proprietary machinery layouts. Replaceable sacrificial filters catch conductive dust before it reaches the core. The spent cartridges record contaminants by layer, which can prove workplace exposure—or prove a crew visited somewhere it denies knowing. A used Ashline Density Mapper sells on its latest calibration certificate. Without one, port inspectors treat every reading as opinion and every signed survey as somebody else's liability.
