Low Orbit’s vac shell is the working crew’s answer to tailored pressure wear: enough adjustment points to fit most bodies, enough tape-friendly surface to survive ownership. The outer layer is pale ripstop fabric over a gas-tight bladder, with hard rings at neck, wrists, and boots. Rib laces pull excess volume flat so the suit does not balloon into controls. Life support rides separately; this is shell, valves, and emergency patch pockets. It creases behind the knees, whistles during pressure checks, and develops personal smells immediately. None of that matters when the pressure alarm starts. Properly fitted, it gives you time to find out what went wrong.
