When the main loop quits, Coldrail Bastion Emergency Breather Field Pattern gives the wearer minutes—not miracles. The build combines aramid weave, titanium hardware, fluorosilicone seals, and vacuum-rated aerogel; this coldrail version adds pale ceramic hardware that stays usable in shadow-cold. Bastion parts are thick, obvious, and meant to survive a frightened crew. Field-pattern pieces can be stripped with a suit tool, not a clean bench. A foil-wrapped cylinder, frost-tolerant regulator, and silicone half-mask fit inside the hard case. The mask seal hates beard stubble, blood, and ice, so the kit includes a scraper and one ugly disposable seal hood. Open the purge in vacuum and the bottle vanishes in minutes; fail to purge a contaminated hood and the casualty gets one more lungful of trouble.
