Hard Mercy Drift Recovery Beacon Watch Model turns a drifting suit into a target rescuers can actually acquire. The build combines aramid weave, titanium hardware, fluorosilicone seals, and vacuum-rated aerogel; this hard mercy version adds red rescue tabs against matte charcoal panels. Drift fittings can be found and operated while tumbling. The watch model favors endurance and readable telltales over speed. A glove-sized lever arms the beacon; a guarded second pull sends an immediate mayday. Frost cannot hide the mechanical armed flag, and the test port records whether the antenna actually radiated. A beacon buried behind cargo or a suit's metal frame may shout into its own shadow. Mounting and pre-EVA test are part of survival.
