Sable Span Relay Survival Kit Field Pattern keeps one suited person alive after the airlock, vehicle, or rescue schedule has failed. The build combines aramid weave, titanium hardware, fluorosilicone seals, and vacuum-rated aerogel; this sable span version adds carbon-black braid with brass-colored load indicators. Relay connections accept a buddy line without disconnecting the primary system. Field-pattern pieces can be stripped with a suit tool, not a clean bench. Its repair roll carries foil-backed patches, two-part seal gum, spare valve caps, and a blunt scraper for frost. The air bottle is isolated from the heater packets; careless stowage should not turn one failure into three. A bad seal may look quiet while the oxygen reserve empties. The kit buys time only when somebody watches the gauge.
