Blue Static Deck-Stable Ward Cord is a thick ward cord braided around a flexible ballast filament, supplied with locking beads and four deck cleats. This Blue Static pattern uses cobalt mesh, ceramic clips, and a prickling halo that lifts loose hair, aggressive about interference and notorious for upsetting cheap comms within arm's reach. With Blue Static, once tensioned, it holds a ritual boundary through spin changes, docking bumps, and ordinary crew traffic. Blue Static's cord cannot make a bad diagram good, but it keeps a good one from drifting three centimeters into disaster. With Blue Static, cut strands curl toward the breach, a useful warning if nobody is standing on them. Blue Static costs more than rope because rope has never had to argue with a hungry threshold. Ninth Sign asks 205 credits, including a fitted case and one calibration check; replacement consumables are extra, because apparently consequences have a subscription model; that is the Blue Static distinction.
