Copper Ghost Zero-G Sculpture

Rose-copper leaves circle translucent resin figures no larger than fingers, all threaded through a magnetic field that remembers touch. After a guest adjusts a piece, the sculpture repeats the movement later as a dim afterimage. Over months it accumulates gestures: a child's grab, a lover's hesitation, a dead owner's careful turn of the wrist. The brochure calls this continuity. House staff use a shorter word. Installation requires microgravity, warm hands, and one deliberate movement from the buyer to establish the first ghost. The copper must be oiled weekly and the memory lattice purged yearly unless the owner wants every visitor retained. Collectors rarely purge it. They become attached to gestures whose owners they cannot identify, then hire specialists to authenticate intimate traces. That market is half scholarship, half voyeurism, and entirely expensive. A sculpture carrying a famous hand can secure invitations; one exposed as seeded with fabricated gestures leaves its owner looking gullible, predatory, or both.
