Copper Ghost Cinder Deck Workwear Service Issue wears like a mechanic's second skin -- creased at the hips, reinforced where steel decking eats cloth, and indifferent to fashion. Its shell is a waxed polycotton weave with aramid threads only at the knees, seat, and forearms; the cloth takes grease without turning brittle. Nothing heavier than a hand tool belongs in its stitched pockets; the detachable thigh wallet exists for the ugly, sharp stuff. It collects a truthful record: sealant at the hip, powdered insulation in the seams, somebody else's paint across the back. Owners usually date their repairs in marker. It passes unnoticed in freight districts, looks aggressively blue-collar in a concourse bar, and gets a person watched near executive berths. Overload the thigh pockets and the garment drags across the hips, snags ladders, and eventually parts at the pocket corners.
