Hard Mercy Relay Deck Boots Watch Model is built on a broad, low heel with enough toe room for a swollen foot and no spare profile to snag beneath a rung. The upper is oilproof split synth-hide over a replaceable moisture sock, bonded to a sole with grit molded through its full depth. Drain channels run away from the instep; the heel carries a shallow tool notch useful for one stubborn hatch dog and little else. New uppers are charcoal; used ones take the color of their deck -- coolant white around the toe, rust at the welt, black ladder marks across the instep. Repairs are meant to show. The cut belongs to people allowed behind marked hatches; wearing it above one's station invites questions from both labor and security. The toe cap survives impacts better than the stitching behind it. A crushed-looking boot may be safe; a neat one with a split welt is not.
