Built around ladders, access trunks, and eight ugly hours on steel plate, Nightshift Picket Deck Workwear Crew Model keeps its bulk close to the body. Its shell is a waxed polycotton weave with aramid threads only at the knees, seat, and forearms; the cloth takes grease without turning brittle. The pocket mouths face inward so loose parts stay put in freefall; a hidden pass-through lets a medic reach the wearer's flank. New cloth is charcoal; used cloth becomes the color of the owner's work -- coolant white at the cuffs, cable soot at the shoulder, rust along the dominant knee. Repairs are meant to show. Dock bosses notice repaired knees before brand marks; recruiters notice whether those repairs were done before or after the tear spread. Overload the thigh pockets and the garment drags across the hips, snags ladders, and eventually parts at the pocket corners.
