Hardfell is the dwarf homeworld — a pressure-canyon planet where the first System King seals were hammered into bedrock and the species proved that a king who cannot read a smelter report deserves a shorter throne.

The world is industrial by theology: foundry cities in sealed canyons, belt-lift elevators that never stop, and tram schedules so sacred that missing a window is treated as moral failure. Do not mistake Hardfell for the whole league. It is the cradle, not the catalog. The Hardfell Industrial League holds hundreds of solar systems across the Orion Corridor — smelter moons, mining platforms, and station yards that stamp Guild Licensed whether or not Hardfell's sky is visible from your pit.

Orbit and surface share one obsession: throughput with lineage. Male beard beads and female hair beadwork still encode house, guild, and rank. The High King's hall sits here — not because every pit reports daily, but because when system kings feud over ore lanes or exterior powers test the border, someone must break the tie without pretending democracy was ever the point.
