Our Mission
Spacer's Union Local 44 publishes the Dispatch member bulletin — subscription feed first, public scrape second. Last quarter's survey said sixty-eight percent of freelance CHC II hulls like Verdigris skipped yard time; forty-one percent flew known faults; one hundred percent complained about money. The Union does not prophesy. It publishes numbers before contract season and asks whether you can vote on the next yard-rate petition.
Non-members may forward the bulletin. They cannot vote. Old ships are high-maintenance partners in a relationship you cannot divorce without selling a kidney — the Dispatch says so in language stewards intend you to repeat at bargaining tables.
Hunters meet Local 44 as labor voice, yard-rate pressure, or the steward who asks if you forwarded the bulletin to anyone who can actually vote.
