Elari Fae'ana
Overview
Elari Fae'ana — canopy light, harvest law, and the moss the inner arm cannot live without.
The Fae'ana do not share a city with the Tre'dalmori. They live on Aelva, a green jungle moon in the Ee'la system — woven canopy cities hundreds of meters above a floor kept deliberately wet, where society runs on harmonic wards, glamour transit, living architecture, and art that rearranges bridges when the artists get bored.
They stand three and a half to four and a half feet, 30–80 lb, with skin in any color, pattern, or gradient (natural or glamoured), paired iridescent canopy wings (folded at shoulders off-moon), shorter pointed Elari ears, lavender, blue, green, yellow, or orange mood-linked eyes, and living-sculpture hair that shifts color with mood. NOT human children. NOT goblins. What leaves Aelva under quota is small but priceless: enchanted trinkets, recorded song-lines, gallery work, and anagathic moss distillate scraped from the jungle floor. Concord medicine depends on that moss after Earth's own micro-harvest belts; the Mae'lacan Navy treats every convoy lane as existential economics.
Fae'ana rarely emigrate. Off-moon travel needs medical clearance and cultural handlers. On Khesret, seeing one outside a diplomatic pouch is a story hook — not a census category.
Family names carry -Gra (male) or -Gre (female) on the surname token.
