Orion

Orion is the Goblishili homeworld — the vault-terraced planet where the first Mutual Charter seals were counted aloud and the species proved that democracy could run on receipts instead of rifles. The world is breathable, heavily urbanized, and built for people who rarely exceed four feet: low tram ceilings, ear-height negotiation rails, and lamplight that makes emerald-to-sapphire skin shimmer like wet stone on every banking promenade.

Do not mistake Orion for the whole Hegemony. It is the cradle, not the catalog. The Goblishili Orion Hegemony holds hundreds of solar systems under charter — insurance courts on distant moons, yacht slips in wealthy belts, Navy basins beside clearing habitats that never share Orion's weather. Orion's assemblies still set precedent; Thul'vaneh Core's desks still clear the arm's traffic first. Diaspora children on Khesret learn both names before they learn which one their remittance form uses.

Surface and orbit share one obsession: liquidity with craftsmanship. Incentive Houses (now chartered corporations under assembly oversight) still sponsor lockwright guilds and tall-spec yacht yards — bridges and companionways engineered for eight- to ten-foot clients because the arm's tall species pay the invoices. Luxury slips ring the equatorial elevators; fiscal courts float in stationary habitats where tonal lie-detection is admissible if the warrant is pretty enough. The Hegemony Navy recruits here, but deploys everywhere the charters reach.
