TMC was founded by vault-tram engineers who decided settlement should move at tram speed, not committee speed. Today it is the clearing infrastructure under Incentive House Seven: hardened rails, reconciliation vaults, and timing clocks that carry account traffic between IH-7 desks and partner institutions across the Corridor.

Most customers never enter a TMC facility. The few who do hear physical relay cars hammering through sealed tubes while sapphire status boards chase mismatched ledgers down to the last fraction of a cred. The air smells like hot lubricant, cold ceramic, and the bad minute before an engineer admits the redundant system needs its redundant system.

TMC is not a retail bank. It doesn't offer personal accounts, issue cards, court crews, or appear as a bank choice. Your account remains with IH-7; Tramway clears what happens underneath it. Interbank transfers carry no transfer fee in v1, though compliance holds and settlement delays can still leave a payment sitting under blue lights while three departments argue over a timestamp.

Nobody loves plumbing until it stops. Then everybody learns the name on the access hatch.
