MEGA Station Khesret
High above Khesret-Prime's crown, on the polite side of Meridian approach traffic, MEGA Station hangs like a gold cufflink on black velvet. It is the local node of the Corridor-wide MEGA Stations chain — bank, vault, resort, and market in one sealed habitat — and it smells like citrus polish, cold vault air, and money that never had to hurry.
The lobby welcomes everyone with human concierges and a three-zone directory: Vault, Resort, Market. The Vault takes your box and your biometric and does not lose either. The Resort sells suites that cost more than a honest freighter's quarterly upkeep. The Market can outfit a crew for a year if the crew can survive the price tags and the exit scan.
Spacers use it the way the ads intend: "Hit MEGA Station, drop this in the box, then we go." Members flash a card and walk past the "no vacancy" board — one night free at their level, member rates after, and a room held for them even when the Resort looks full. Solaris Federation Military IDs shave the walk-in rate. Everyone else pays full freight — or shops the Market and sleeps somewhere that still has a Sump-Nine zip code.
