Humans — *still the majority on the forms, never the whole story.*

Concord census treats Homo sapiens as the default line item because humans seeded thousands of worlds, wrote most of the treaties, and still fill the middle ranks of every bureaucracy that matters. That does not make Khesret a human planet. It makes humans the species everyone else learns to negotiate around.

Baseline humans are Concord stock: jump-hub citizens, dock crews, corp middle management, refugees from a thousand colony worlds that are not Earth. Khesret-Prime alone stacks billions in arcologies and undercities — sump labor, spire finance, and everyone in between.

A regulated subset carries Awakened status: people whose magic registered with the Astral Court treaty framework — lodge mages on retainer, licensed flare-dampeners, street adepts who forgot to file, and industrial brokers who leave afterimages on security cams when the stack bleed gets bad. Awakened is legal classification, not a different species. Same blood, different paperwork and worse audit trails.

Post-Depth gate migrants added a third layer of confusion: humans who swear they remember lives in fantasy sims that never orbited anything. Homeworld-born families and sim-memory elders argue over what counts as real. Customs still stamps them all human.
