Korrathi (conspiracy)
Overview
The Korrathi conspiracy — *not a census category. A Net ghost story that will not die.*
Respectable spacers do not believe in Korrathi. Mainstream filings say Tesla built the frame at the gate, Concord owns the queue, and the Chief Executive is an unseen human problem for analysts — not a hidden species running a monopoly from inside a chassis.
Fringe boards disagree. Nullroot threads, gate-labor rants, and sapient-rights cranks insist Concord hides sapient mechaniform people — tall, thin, rainbow-hulled "Korrathi" — behind maintenance optics and courier misfiles. They cite odd registry lines like Robot: Korrathi model on paperwork that official clerks reclassify as *courier frame* and forget. They claim war-era mechaniform soldiers from the Ancients War never stopped being persons. They publish blurry coupling stills and call it proof.
Concord denies everything. Solaris shelved the last serious inquiry. CHC has no species box for them. Biology departments file the theory next to little greys and Legacy hull cults.
What the conspiracy gets almost right is the shape of the rumor: humanoid plating, luminous optics, too much personality for a jig-built Tesla unit. What it gets wrong is scale — if Korrathi were real, the arm would not need a message board to notice. That is why the story persists. It explains the unseen CEO, the ninety-year filing, and the occasional courier that refuses to be scrapped — without requiring anyone respectable to admit it in public.
